Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed the one player he played with that he thought his greatness could last forever.

The former Juventus, Ajax, Milan and PSG striker mentioned Adriano Leite Robeiro with whom he played alongside at Inter Milan as a great player who never fulfilled his potentials.

“I played with great champions, I played with players that already was wow.

“I played with players that I saw their talent became wow. But the one I felt could do it longer was Adriano but he didn’t do it.

“When I came to Inter the first thing I told the president was for him to stay because he was a player I wanted to play with.

“Because the way he was, he was an animal he could shoot from any angle, nobody could tackle him, nobody could take the ball from him, he was a pure animal.

“But it lasted for a short time.”

Adriano Leite Robeiro scored 74 in 177 games for Inter between 2001-2009. Since his move away from Inter in 2009 the Brazilian was never the same.

Many Nigerians will remember his partnership with Obafemi Martins during his spells with the Nerazzuris.

He was popular for his fierceful left foot shoots, techniques and skills despite standing at 6″2 tall.
