Mikel returns as Rohr goes Conte for Argentina
Captain John Mikel Obi has returned to the Super Eagles line up as Coach Gernot set to experiment a new formation.
John Mikel Obi was rested in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against the Fennecs of Algeria in their last world cup qualifiers clash in Constantine last Friday.
The Franco-German coach seems to have gone Conte against the star studded Al Albiceleste as Eagles push for just their second win in eight attempts.
According to various reports, there were three changes from the team that played Algeria at Constantine with Mikel Obi retuning to midfield, Daniel Akpeyi preferred to Francis Uzoho and Ikechukwu Ezenwa. Chidozie Awaziem is also introduced in the line up.
With the coach going 3-5-2, in goal will be Daniel Akpeyi, William Troost-Ekong, Chidozie Awaziem and Leon Balogun will start in defence, Ola Aina and Shehu Abdullahi will play as wing backs, Wilfred Ndidi, John Ogu and Mikel Obi to play in the midfield with the later playing further up the pitch.
Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho and Arsenak star Alex Iwobi will spare head the Super Eagles attack.

The match between Nigeria and Argentina will kick off at 5:30pm West African time today (Tuesday)
